We offer sewing lessons to people of all ages and experiences including:

NEW CLASS SCHEDULE WILL BE POSTED SHORTLY

How are lessons conducted?

Since classes are individualized, lessons are different from other places in that we first begin by discussing your sewing goals, then find a mutually agreeable time to meet weekly. Each student works on their self-selected and teacher-guided project. This results in learning more quickly and getting a lot of individualized attention and instruction.

What do I need for materials?

Supplies depend on your individual project need, however I do have tools that students can use (scissors, measuring gauges, pins, etc.) until they get their own. Once a project is selected, I let students know verbally or in writing which materials are required. I also carry a limited supply of fabric and notions (thread, elastic, etc.).

How much do sessions cost?

Private lesson: $60 per lesson

Semi-Private lessons (2-3 people): $37.50 per student per lesson

Group Classes Nights/Saturdays: prices will be on registration form.

Sessions are prepaid before or day of the first class. Payment options include cash, check, credit card, and PayPal.

What is your cancellation policy?

I reserve a specific time slot each week for students. Because of this, I ask that any cancellation of class due to an emergency or unavoidable situation be made up within the week, if possible. Knowing that special circumstances can and do arise, I ask for a 24-hour notification of an absence. If I cannot "fill" your spot, I ask that one session's fee be used, as this continues to reserve your spot and time slot while you're away. Frequent missed classes will result in a forfeit of that class's fee and may jeopardize continuation with classes. Please communicate any special needs with me and we can work out something that is mutually agreeable.
